YARN PUFF // FINE YARN // SOFT MERINO YARN
Our ‘puff’ yarn collaboration is created with stability, durability and simplicity in mind, but we do want to make sure you’re ready for any ‘bumps’ in the road. So please make sure you take a moment and check out our disclaimer before making your purchase.
Our yarn is soft merino wool and comfortable against the skin, is easy-care and has a low pilling quotient. This puff fine yarn is sturdy and soft, squishy and has amazing drape. Wool is naturally odour repelling so it’s great for families and pets.
Our New Zealand merino wool is sourced from growers with a commitment to the ZQ Merino ethos, meeting the highest standards in the areas of animal welfare, environmental care, and social sustainability, along with delivering premium quality “fit for purpose” fibre.
EXTREME KNITTING // XXL KNITTING // SUPER CHUNKY WOOL
We couldn’t be more excited to share with you Plump & Co’s range of super chunky wool for XXL knitting yarn and arm knitting for creating super chunky blankets and super chunky throws. So you can enjoy the process of XXL knitting in the comfort of your own home. Everyone's tension is very different, so the tighter you knit, the more yarn required. A single bump of yarn can be used to make a bowl, hanging basket or pet mat. A super chunky blanket requires 2-5 bumps but pieces can be grown by “blocking” and adding tassels. Unwind your yarn off the cone to give it a bit of time to plump up before you knit it.
XXL knitting pushes the boundaries of the traditional craft. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, don’t give up, and make what you want, how you want! Once you’ve thrown out the rule book, remember to relax! Knitting with too tight a tension won’t knot the yarn - but it might put a few knots in your shoulders. Knit with a regular tension, find your rhythm, and watch your creation grow.
